Privacy Policy

DRAFT — for review by N3XT Athletics and counsel before launch.

N3XT Athletics (“we”) runs the N3XT check-in app and website so young athletes can practice our 15 values every day. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect and why.

Who holds the account

A parent or guardian creates the account, verifies their email and agrees to this policy. Athletes do not have their own email, password or login — they use a profile inside the parent’s account.

What we collect about your athlete

  • First name and last initial, a chosen avatar, birth year, sport(s) and N3XT location.
  • Daily check-ins (which values were affirmed and when), streaks, Stars and streak restores, badges and prizes.
  • Short daily reflections your athlete types while checking in: three things they are grateful for, one hard thing they did yesterday and one they will do today (up to 140 characters each).

Reflections are private: only you, your athlete and N3XT administrators can read them — never coaches, other families or the leaderboard. We do not collect photos, precise location or contacts. There are no ads and no third-party trackers.

What we collect about you (the parent)

Name, email, password (hashed), timezone, your consent record and, if you opt in, permission to email you program news.

How it is used

When the leaderboard is on, your athlete’s display name (first name and last initial), avatar, location and current streak appear on a Top-10 list that other signed-in N3XT families can see; ask us any time to keep your athlete off it.

Only to run the app: showing progress, awarding prizes, letting coaches at your athlete’s N3XT location see attendance-style progress, and contacting you about the account.

Who can see it

You; N3XT coaches assigned to your athlete’s location (first name, last initial, progress — not daily reflections, and not your email beyond a contact line); N3XT administrators. Hosting is provided by Kinsta; email by our mail provider. We never sell data.

Your choices

Review or change athlete details any time in Parent settings. Request a copy of your athlete’s data or delete the account and all athlete data from Parent settings → Delete (14-day grace). Email support@n3xt.mobile for anything else.

Children’s privacy (COPPA) and Texas law

Because athletes are under 13, we only collect the minimum needed and only after a parent verifies their email. We follow COPPA and the Texas SCOPE Act: no targeted advertising, parental control over the data, and deletion on request. The iPhone app will also support Apple’s parental-consent tools for Texas.

Security

Encrypted connections, hashed passwords, limited staff access, audited changes. Report concerns to support@n3xt.mobile.

Version 2026-08. We will email account holders before material changes.
